Lead generation specialist

About the Role

Nyrock LLP is looking for a Lead Generation Specialist Intern to support our business development initiatives by identifying, researching, qualifying, and organizing potential clients for our technology services.

The intern will work closely with the business development team to build a consistent pipeline of relevant B2B prospects across domestic and international markets.

This role is ideal for someone who is curious about sales, business development, market research, technology, and client acquisition and wants practical experience in how a technology company generates and converts business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Research & Prospecting

Research companies, industries, markets, and potential business opportunities. Identify organizations that may benefit from Nyrock’s services. Find relevant decision-makers and key stakeholders within target organizations. Use professional platforms, search engines, company websites, business directories, and other legitimate sources for prospect research. Build and maintain structured prospect lists.

2. Lead Qualification

Understand Nyrock’s target customer profiles and service offerings. Evaluate prospects based on industry, company size, location, business requirements, and potential fit. Identify potential business needs, technology gaps, or opportunities where Nyrock can provide value. Categorize and prioritize leads based on relevance and potential.

3. Market & Company Research

Review prospect websites, products, services, technology presence, and digital experience. Research competitors and market trends. Identify potential triggers such as new business launches, expansion, outdated digital platforms, technology requirements, or other relevant opportunities. Maintain accurate research notes for each qualified prospect.

4. Outreach Support

Assist in developing personalized outreach messages for qualified prospects. Support LinkedIn, email, and other approved B2B outreach activities. Personalize communication based on the prospect's business and potential requirements. Maintain professional communication throughout the initial engagement. Record responses, follow-ups, and outcomes accurately.

5. Lead Management & Reporting

Maintain accurate lead records in the company's CRM, spreadsheets, or designated systems. Avoid duplicate prospects and maintain data quality. Track lead status throughout the prospecting process. Prepare regular reports on leads generated, qualified prospects, outreach activity, responses, and other relevant metrics. Identify patterns and provide insights that can improve future lead-generation activities.

6. Collaboration with Business Development

Coordinate with the business development and management team regarding qualified opportunities. Share relevant prospect information before handover. Incorporate feedback from the team to improve lead quality and outreach strategies. Participate in discussions around target industries, markets, and customer profiles.

Performance Expectations

The intern will be evaluated based on the quality and relevance of leads, research accuracy, consistency, communication, initiative, and ability to improve over time.

Performance will not be measured solely by the number of leads collected. Relevant, well-researched, and properly qualified prospects are more valuable than large volumes of unqualified data.

Who Would Be a Good Fit?

This role is suited for someone who:

Enjoys discovering new companies and researching how they operate. Is comfortable communicating with professionals. Can work independently without constant supervision. Is naturally curious about why businesses need technology. Can distinguish a genuine business opportunity from a random prospect. Takes ownership of assigned responsibilities. Wants to develop practical business and sales skills.

Internship Experience at Nyrock

As a growing technology company, Nyrock provides interns with an opportunity to work on real business processes rather than simulated assignments.

You will have exposure to actual prospect research, business development workflows, internal tools, and decision-making processes used to build the company's client pipeline.
